Acceptable Use

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone using byanalytics. Breaches may lead to suspension or termination of the workspace.

You must not

  • Install the tracker on websites you do not own or are not authorised to measure.
  • Send personal data as event properties or URLs (names, email addresses, phone numbers, account IDs that identify a person), or special categories of data.
  • Use the service to track individuals across websites or to build profiles of individuals.
  • Use the crawler, uptime monitors or webhooks against systems you are not authorised to test, or to generate abusive traffic.
  • Attempt to access other workspaces' data, probe or bypass security measures, or interfere with the service.
  • Send automated requests to the ingestion endpoint or API beyond normal use, or forge traffic to manipulate statistics.
  • Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful content or activities.
  • Resell the service without a written agreement.

Reporting

Report abuse or security issues to our contact form. We investigate every report and respond as soon as possible.

Enforcement

We may, proportionally to the breach, warn, limit, suspend or terminate a workspace, and remove offending data.
